As a leading education provider with 11 campuses across New Zealand, NZMA wanted to create a world-class Human Experience for the next version of their website on a new content management platform.
We delivered a cross platform Human Experience on any device, delivering above average conversions of new leads and enrollments.
The new site helped potential students discover suitable courses based on their interests and passions, while lowering drop-off rates.
Course and Campus user journeys were considered with care to cater to different initial interests.
Integration with the Student Management System improved accuracy of course intake dates by creating a ‘single source of truth’, reducing the need for marketing to make manual changes to the website.

Internal student and staff feedback have been overwhelmingly positive.
The new technology stack has delivered real performance improvements, lowering the cost-per-click of digital media spend through better quality scores for landing pages, allowing for a greater return on investment.
By dramatically improving the human experience of the digital enrolment process, Apolinar and NZMA created a digital experience that not only engages the audience but also empowers them to enrol.
The flexible content authoring reduces the need for marketing to engage developer resources as they evolve the site to meet new campaign requirements.
How we did it
Working closely with NZMA as a trusted digital partner, we were able to deliver in just 12 weeks through our innovative processes:
Apolinar spent two weeks conducting market research and interviewed key stakeholders to identify key project opportunities and challenges, redefining the long-term growth strategy.
A 5-day Co-Design sprint was held with NZMA key stakeholders. The first three days were used to repurpose existing data and analytics for opportunity identification and decision-making. On day four, Apolinar created an interactive prototype in just seven hours. On day five, Apolinar tested the prototype at an NZMA campus with 28 students, gathering critical feedback.
User testing feedback shaped the next iteration of the design, which we delivered using our next generation Design-Ops process; driving efficiency in costs, quality, and agility.
The Digital Style Guide and high-fidelity designs were seamlessly merged with the DevOps pipeline with our HX / UX / UI Design streamlined system.
We launched an Agile Release Train (ART) using Scaled Agile (SAFe) to deliver the new website through to go-live
Utilising Full Stack Development, we developed a modern Single Page Application (SPA) using Angular Universal with SSR with the ability to be accessed on any device
Delivered a new flexible content authoring experience for the marketing team, using Contentful, a modern headless CMS (Content Management System)
Developed a new Integration Layer through Organisational Automation, using Node JS to integrate with the organisation’s CRM and Student Management System
